Terms of Services

Nature of Services: Beachn Behavior LLC provides educational parent consultation and coaching services delivered by Courtney Schietinger, MS, BCBA, LBA (VA), a Board Certified Behavior Analyst licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia. These consultations are for educational and support purposes only and are not a substitute for formal Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, medical care, or mental health treatment.

Beachn Behavior LLC does not provide ongoing therapy, diagnosis, or treatment for autism, behavioral disorders, or any medical or psychiatric conditions.

Services are designed to educate and empower parents with behavior-analytic strategies they can implement at home.

Scope of Role: The BCBA acts in a consultative and educational capacity, offering general behavioral insight, strategy recommendations, and parent coaching based on the information provided by the client.
All recommendations are intended for use under parental discretion. Implementation of strategies remains the parent or guardian’s responsibility.

Client Responsibilities: By scheduling a consultation, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during the intake process.

• Use the strategies discussed in a manner consistent with your child’s safety and wellbeing.

• Refrain from sharing or recording sessions without prior written consent.

• Understand that results vary depending on individual child and family factors.

Limits of Liability: Beachn Behavior LLC, its owner, and affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages resulting from the use or misuse of the information provided during consultations. Parents are responsible for applying recommendations safely and appropriately.

Fees, Payment, and Cancellations: All consultations and coaching sessions are pre-paid at the time of booking through HIPAA-compliant scheduling and payment platforms.

Privacy and Confidentiality: All personal and health information shared during consultations is protected under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Electronic Communication: All sessions and communications occur via HIPAA-compliant platforms. By participating, you acknowledge that while all reasonable safeguards are used, no online communication can be guaranteed 100% secure.

Jurisdiction: All services provided by Beachn Behavior LLC are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Virginia courts.
